In summer 2025 (June through September), Disney Cruise Line is set to embark on voyages to beloved destinations, providing families with memorable global vacations. The journey options encompass sun-soaked escapes to The Bahamas and Caribbean departing from Florida, majestic explorations in Alaska, and, marking a premiere, European cruises to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe aboard the Disney Fantasy.

Disney Fantasy in Europe

The Disney Fantasy will make its inaugural summer journey through Europe, charting a course through remarkable European locales from Northern Europe to the Mediterranean. From May until the end of July, the ship will offer voyages ranging from five to 12 nights, departing from Barcelona, Spain, and Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy. These cruises will visit a variety of stunning Mediterranean ports, with a special 12-night cruise to the Greek Isles that includes three stops in Greece, two in Italy, and the season’s exclusive visit to Valetta, Malta.

From the end of July through September, the Disney Fantasy will navigate from Southampton, United Kingdom, to a wide range of destinations, including Spain, Norway, and the British Isles.

Disney Wonder in Alaska

The Disney Wonder is set to return to the majestic Alaskan landscapes, departing from Vancouver, Canada, for a series of cruises ranging from five to nine nights between May and September. These voyages will introduce families to Alaska’s awe-inspiring wilderness, infused with Disney’s enchantment, stopping at Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan. Excursions at these ports will allow guests to explore Alaska’s stunning glaciers and historic gold mining sites, offering a unique blend of adventure and Disney magic.

Tropical Adventures from Florida

In the summer of 2025, four ships from Disney Cruise Line will be stationed in Florida, with three operating out of Port Canaveral and one from Fort Lauderdale, to take families on enchanting journeys to The Bahamas and the Caribbean, including visits to Disney’s exclusive island locales.

The Disney Treasure, the latest addition to the fleet, will continue from its first season, offering seven-night journeys from Port Canaveral to both the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Sailings to the Eastern Caribbean will feature stops at the private oasis of Disney Castaway Cay, Tortola, and St. Thomas, while Western Caribbean cruises will explore Falmouth in Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel, Mexico. These week-long trips are designed to provide at least two sea days, allowing guests to fully enjoy the ship’s distinctive areas, immersive dining experiences, and top-tier entertainment.

For the first time since the summer of 2016, the Disney Magic will be based in Port Canaveral, presenting four- and five-night excursions to The Bahamas and Disney’s island destinations. A special 10-night voyage in July will offer a southern Caribbean adventure to Disney’s island spots, Antigua, St. Kitts, San Juan, and Tortola in the British Virgin Islands.

The Disney Magic and Disney Dream will escort guests to Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point on Eleuthera Island in the summer of 2025, offering a vibrant escape that showcases Bahamian culture alongside Disney’s famed entertainment and hospitality. Selected routes will include visits to both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, with six exclusive cruises on the Disney Magic or Disney Dream focusing solely on Disney’s island retreats for a doubly magical experience.

Meanwhile, the Disney Wish will set sail from Port Canaveral on three- and four-night cruises to Nassau and Disney Castaway Cay’s cherished shores. From Fort Lauderdale in South Florida, the Disney Dream will embark on three- to five-night voyages to either or both of Disney’s magical island havens, in addition to Nassau or Cozumel.

Now with 6 ships sailing in the United States, 4 sailing from the South East this Summer, there are plenty of options for you to choose from for your Disney Cruise. Make sure to check all ships and ports, as there will likely be 6 – 8 cruises a week sailing out of Florida. If you can, avoid the Disney Treasure for now (unless you have to). Other ships will be less expensive, as the demand for the new Treasure is very high right now. It will calm in a year or two, but new shiny things attract everyone.
